🚀 An important step in deploying our solution across Europe: our first publication introduces a predictive model assessing the budgetary and organizational impact (OBIM) of gradually replacing intraoperative autotransfusion systems in French hospitals. Developed in partnership with RWEALITY and the pharmacy team at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital in Paris, this model anticipates the shift from traditional cell centrifugation, which only preserves red blood cells, to our innovative same™ device. Using tangential filtration, same™ recovers and cleanses the patient’s blood, preserving both platelets and red blood cells, leading to significant cost and efficiency benefits. 🩸In a study of 600 cardiothoracic surgery patients, using same™ resulted in a 45% reduction in red blood cell transfusions. Platelet use decreased by 60% for moderate bleeding and by 90% for severe bleeding, yielding annual savings of €44,601 from the first year, with cumulative savings of €535,206 over five years as the device’s market share grows to 100%. This model offers hospitals a clear, precise view of the expected medico-economic benefits. By quantifying the cost savings and efficiency gains, it supports decision-making for healthcare centers looking to optimize both patient outcomes and resource management.

🩸Cutting-Edge Innovation : How same™ is redefining blood transfusion 🔊 During our recent interview on Télénantes, we shared an update on the rollout of our same™ technology across Europe. Based in Nantes, we are proud to see how our innovation in autotransfusion for cardiac surgery is transforming medical practices in several European countries. 💡 What makes us unique? i-SEP’s device is the first and only Intra Operative Cell Salvage device capable to wash and recover both red blood cells and platelets during surgery. With same™, we not only reduce reliance on blood donations but also allow patients to receive their own blood cells, significantly minimizing the risk of post-operative complications. 🌍 A global impact We work closely with hospitals in France and internationally to make every surgical procedure safer by optimizing the use of vital resources like blood. Every drop counts, and our mission is to improve healthcare for all through innovative technologies. 🎥 This interview on Télénantes was the perfect opportunity to show how i-SEP is shaping the future of medicine. We strongly believe that innovation can not only improve outcomes but also save lives !

🌍 World Blood Donor Day: Revolutionizing Blood Resource Management with i-SEP’s same™ Device! 🩸 Today, we highlight a critical issue in Geneva: the chronic shortage of blood donors. But there’s hope thanks to the innovative efforts of HUG – Hôpitaux Universitaires de Genève in rationalizing hemoglobin use. 🔬 A Game-Changing Technology! HUG is testing i-SEP’s same™ device in cardiology operating rooms. This device could potentially halve hemoglobin needs by recovering and purifying blood lost during surgeries, then reinfusing the patient’s own red blood cells and platelets. […]
